I spoke of times,
I mused about life,
To someone I never knew.
I detailed my crimes,
I sighed about strife,
To someone I barely knew.
The someone became special-
A secret someone with a vial;
And I was lured with a fair trial;
Into a state of blissful denial.
Time paced up and down.
And moments thought me a clown.
For I waited for a veil to fall,
And searched for a door in the wall.
No veil fell.
Not even a thread as well.
Not a sigh fluttered out,
Neither did a tear drop shout.
Time then, took me by the arm.
Patience undressed the charm.
And in the twilight that was quite, quite old;
I walked away from an endearing cold.
I mused about life,
To someone I never knew.
I detailed my crimes,
I sighed about strife,
To someone I barely knew.
The someone became special-
A secret someone with a vial;
And I was lured with a fair trial;
Into a state of blissful denial.

And moments thought me a clown.
For I waited for a veil to fall,
And searched for a door in the wall.

Not a sigh fluttered out,

And in the twilight that was quite, quite old;
