Episode 40: The Farewell

It's an odd feeling farewell.
Well, it's fair to say it as well.
You adjust to the unjust,
and then you trust and mistrust.

You settle in with an unsettling air.
That breeds a mood with a little despair;
Well, by and by,
as time goes by,
it's fair,
To say you quite enjoy the lair.

And then the days pass.
Your ego senses a trespass.
You need to say farewell.
Or you just might end up not being well.

So you start to say goodbye;
but, by the by, you might cry,
For amidst that lair and that air,
Must have wandered a smile, a hello hey ther'
And a set of sentences,
That broke down fences.

For that very smile,
and that hello,
Your goodbye falls short,
For those sentences,
Lie low your defences,

You want those smiles.
Yet must you walk.
You cherish the borderless miles.
Yet away you must walk.

Yes, it's an odd feeling-
Farewell.
But I think I have a feeling,
it has never fared too well.
